Philippine Recruitment Partner for Korean Agencies: Define the Relationship
A useful partnership begins with the requirement behind it. Explain which Korean entity will employ the workers, which organization represents that employer and what the proposed Philippine partner is expected to deliver. This avoids confusing candidate sourcing, immigration representation and workforce management.
ABD is a Philippines-based DMW-licensed recruitment agency established in 1990. Our proposed role must be agreed for each assignment. An introductory conversation does not establish exclusive representation, employer accreditation, an approved requirement or a guaranteed deployment schedule.
For the wider country offer, read the South Korea recruitment overview. Before discussing candidate numbers, use the employer requirements guide to prepare the basic information.
First discussion
Prepare a Partnership Brief
Share enough information for ABD to understand your organization and the commercial purpose of the request. If your client’s identity is confidential, explain the confidentiality restriction and agree a suitable disclosure process before sourcing commitments are discussed.
- Legal company name, registered address, website and authorized business contact.
- Your role: direct employer, recruitment agency, contractor or another disclosed representative.
- The actual employing entity and worksite, with evidence of your authority to represent it where relevant.
- Roles, headcount by occupation, qualifications, proposed employment terms and expected phases.
- The recruitment route under consideration and the Korean-side adviser or representative responsible for checking it.
- The services requested from ABD and the decisions your organization will retain.
These are initial business-review inputs, not a substitute for any official document checklist. Formal requirements depend on the recruitment arrangement and should be confirmed before documents are executed.
Accountability
Agree Who Does What
Korean partner and employer
Identify the employing entity, define the work, verify Korean-side eligibility, provide accurate employment conditions and appoint authorized decision-makers. Confirm who coordinates immigration advice, employer documents, arrival arrangements and workplace onboarding.
ABD’s proposed Philippine scope
Discuss requirement clarification, candidate sourcing when permitted, screening, interview coordination and relevant Philippine-side documentation support. The accepted scope, exclusions and dependencies belong in a written agreement.
Candidate selection remains a defined employer decision. Government authorities make their own approval decisions. Neither an introduction nor a service agreement replaces the required regulatory process.
Use one agreed requirement register with a named owner on each side. Record material changes to duties, compensation, worksite or headcount before they are reflected in candidate communications or employment documents.
Selection standards
Build Selection Around Evidence
For specialist or technical requirements, start with a role profile that an assessor can use. Specify the equipment, materials, processes and responsibilities involved. Agree which qualifications are essential and which experience may be evaluated through interview or practical assessment.
- Define screening criteria before reviewing profiles.
- Agree the employer interview format and participants.
- Where testing is required, specify the standard, evaluator and evidence to retain.
- Resolve discrepancies in experience or documents before proceeding.
- Share candidate information only through an agreed, appropriate channel.
Discuss the reporting format before recruitment starts: candidate status, outstanding documents, employer decisions and the next milestone. Avoid treating an unreviewed database count as a confirmed supply commitment.
Written scope
Set Transparent Commercial and Compliance Terms
A partnership proposal should identify the contracting parties, agreed services, charges, payment milestones, cancellation conditions and treatment of changes. Any replacement or follow-up arrangement must be explicit; no universal guarantee is offered on this page.
Korea’s E-9 EPS route follows a government-managed process. A private sourcing partnership must not be presented as a way around that process. E-7-related specialist inquiries require occupation-specific and employer-specific assessment, together with the relevant Philippine-side requirements.
Confirm which party handles each cost and obligation, and review the applicable rules before agreeing charges. ABD does not represent an employer-of-record, payroll or on-site management service merely by accepting a recruitment partnership inquiry.
Due diligence
Review ABD and the Proposed Engagement
Use our corporate credentials and due diligence page as a starting point. Request the current documents needed for your own review and confirm the exact legal entity named in your agreement. Our license number is DMW-360-LB-05242024-R.
Review international client case studies in their stated country and project context. Overseas experience should not be described as a Korean deployment record unless the supporting Korean engagement is available and approved for disclosure.
Before a project proceeds, reconcile the employer identity, approved scope and required documents. An agency’s general credentials and a specific employer’s recruitment readiness are separate checks.
Partner FAQs
Partnership Questions
Can we discuss a relationship before the final headcount is known?
Yes. Identify estimates clearly and provide a realistic role profile. Candidate commitments and commercial terms should follow a sufficiently defined requirement.
Is exclusivity automatic?
No. Any territory, client or occupation exclusivity would need a separate written agreement.
Can ABD guarantee approval or a fixed arrival date?
No guarantee is made here. Employer decisions, candidate readiness and authority processing affect the outcome.
How do we begin?
Send your company introduction and requirement summary to the employer contact below. State that the inquiry concerns a Korean recruitment partnership and identify the person authorized to discuss it.
