Qatar Employer Accreditation for Recruiting Filipino Workers
Philippines-based recruitment support for Qatar companies, since 1990.
Qatar employer accreditation is a key preparation step when your company plans to recruit Filipino workers through a Philippine recruitment agency. ABD Overseas Manpower Corporation helps employers organize their recruitment brief and coordinate the document review needed to identify the appropriate route.
This guide is for companies and legitimate recruitment-agency partners hiring for business operations. For an overview of sourcing and selection, start with our Filipino manpower recruitment in Qatar hub. This page focuses on preparing the employer file, rather than advertising vacancies to applicants.
Start with the employer and application route
Tell ABD whether your company is the actual employer or a Qatar recruitment agency representing an end client. Include the employer’s legal name, business activity, worksite, roles, and headcount. If an agency is involved, identify the client company and the proposed relationship so the document discussion reflects the actual arrangement.
Also explain whether this is a first application, a renewal, or an additional job order. MWO Qatar publishes separate requirements for these situations, as well as multiple accreditation and transfers. Do not assume an earlier approval covers a new arrangement.
Where to find the current document checklist
MWO Qatar’s company checklist covers the recruitment agreement or power of attorney, signatory IDs, company records, job order and visa approval, employment contract, clearances, undertakings, contingency planning, and accommodation information. QRA arrangements require additional agency and client documents; renewals include a deployment/status report.
Use the official MWO Qatar company checklist and downloadable forms for the complete, current requirements, translations, attestations, and conditional documents. This page is a preparation guide, not a substitute submission checklist.
Agree who prepares and checks each part
The following is a suggested coordination plan to agree with ABD and your representatives. It does not transfer a party’s statutory responsibilities or authority to submit documents.
Qatar employer
- Nominate a contact who can confirm company details and proposed employment terms.
- Organize company records, worksite details, and the staffing requirement.
- Identify who can sign documents and respond to corrections.
- Confirm the intended salary, benefits, accommodation, and transport arrangements.
ABD and any Qatar agency
- ABD coordinates the Philippine recruitment discussion and helps identify missing information.
- A Qatar agency should identify its end client, services, and named document coordinator.
- Agree which party obtains, translates, checks, and submits each document.
- Maintain one current version of the recruitment brief and document register.
How the accreditation review progresses
MWO’s procedure includes scheduling, document evaluation, correction of deficiencies, welfare clearance, possible site verification, a decision, and release/transmittal. Authorized submission arrangements vary by applicant type. A visa allocation does not guarantee an equal approved job order.
Consult the official accreditation procedure. Its stage timings are not an end-to-end deployment promise. Appointment availability, corrections, clearances, and any site visit affect progress.
Prepare a file that is easier to review
Before sending your brief, compare the company name across the documents and mark anything that needs explanation. Use readable scans, meaningful filenames, and a simple version date. Keep draft documents separate from signed copies, and identify the latest approved employment terms for your internal team.
Prepare a short issue list: missing information, pending signatures, unclear translations, and questions about the proposed roles. These are practical preparation suggestions, not additional government requirements. Ask ABD which documents are needed first and how to transfer sensitive records through an agreed channel.
Employer accreditation questions
Does ABD’s license approve my company automatically?
No. ABD’s Philippine agency license and your employer application are separate. Review our corporate credentials alongside the requirements for your own recruitment arrangement.
What if we already selected workers?
Tell ABD where the candidates are currently located and what roles they will fill. Candidate selection alone does not establish that the employer documentation is ready. Read our selected-candidate processing guide for Qatar and request a review before making travel commitments.
What will the process cost?
Ask for a written scope identifying professional services, official charges, translation or attestation costs where applicable, and who pays each item. No standard total is quoted here because the arrangement must first be assessed.
Can you guarantee an approval date?
No. Plan around confirmed milestones, and update your intended mobilization date as the file progresses. Keep approval, candidate readiness, and travel planning as separate checkpoints.
