Business Continuity & Recruitment Risk Management
Business continuity in recruitment depends on clear responsibilities, accessible records, and communication when plans change. ABD supports employers through requirement confirmation, early readiness checks, progress reporting, and coordination of candidate, documentation, approval, and travel dependencies.
Discuss your project’s critical roles, deployment phases, and operational dependencies with ABD so the recruitment scope and communication arrangements can be reviewed against your priorities.
Discuss Recruitment Continuity
Establish Requirements and Responsibilities Early
ABD’s workflow begins with employer consultation and confirmation of the Job Information Form. Clear role criteria, headcount, worksite conditions, compensation, and deployment priorities give sourcing and processing teams a consistent requirement to work from.
Employers retain final selection authority and provide the decisions and documents required from their organization. ABD coordinates recruitment and processing activities within the agreed service scope. Review recruitment planning for large projects when defining multiple roles or deployment batches.
Candidate Readiness and Recruitment Shortfalls
Structured screening, role matching, skills checks, and documented selection help identify suitability and readiness issues before processing. ABD’s candidate assessment process aligns shortlisting with the employer’s confirmed criteria.
If availability changes or a selected candidate cannot proceed, the affected requirement and proposed next steps need employer review. Substitutions and replacement selections require documented employer approval. Any revised sourcing or deployment plan must reflect candidate suitability and processing readiness.
Documentation and Approval Delays
ABD uses early processing-readiness checks to identify document, medical, and eligibility blockers. Follow-up on missing requirements and deficiencies supports progress through the relevant submissions.
- Confirm employer inputs early to reduce mid-process revisions.
- Record candidate selections before coordinating the next processing steps.
- Identify outstanding requirements and coordinate their resolution.
- Track processing and approval progress alongside deployment planning.
Review the overseas recruitment process and ABD’s ethical recruitment and compliance approach. Planned dates depend on readiness and the relevant approvals.
Deployment Sequencing and Travel Dependencies
ABD’s service scope includes deployment sequencing, flight and travel-document coordination, deployment monitoring, and arrival confirmation. Employer priorities and batch readiness inform the deployment plan.
For projects with limited arrival windows, discuss the effect of travel changes, outstanding approvals, or delayed documents before committing to operational milestones. Revised dates and any proposed batch changes should be coordinated with the employer.
The delay risk checker can support an initial planning discussion; project-specific requirements still need review with ABD.
Progress Reporting and Issue Coordination
ABD’s confirmed reporting includes shortlist status, interview outcomes, processing and approval tracking, deployment updates, and arrival confirmation. Issues are routed through formal communication pathways and structured corrective coordination.
Employers should identify the relevant contact, affected roles or batches, operational impact, and decisions needed when raising a disruption. Reporting frequency and escalation arrangements are agreed for the engagement. See account management and service standards.
Staff Cover and Operational Handover
When an assigned recruitment or processing officer is unavailable, day-to-day handover goes to the Operations Lead, Alanne Rose Belaras Devulgado, Vice President. If both are unavailable, the President, Alicia Belaras Devulgado, or the Director & Project Manager, Ananias B. Devulgado III, assumes oversight.
Shared client email channels support continuity of inquiries and coordination by authorized staff. Employers can use clients@abdoverseasmanpower.com for general client coordination alongside their agreed account contact.
Protected Records and Regular Backups
Essential recruitment and processing records are maintained in digital folders with access limited to authorized staff and in physical files under controlled access at the Makati office. Active digital records are backed up regularly, with an off-site or cloud copy maintained to support recovery if primary systems become unavailable.
Detailed record-access and backup arrangements can be discussed as part of an employer’s due-diligence review.
Alternative Working Arrangements
For short internet or power interruptions, staff use mobile data or hotspot connections and available laptops or phones to continue priority candidate coordination, employer updates, and document follow-ups.
During extended office disruption, remote working arrangements support priority activities. Authorized staff use remotely accessible email and mobile communication channels to coordinate with employers. Physical document retrieval is arranged when access is restored.
Incident Coordination and Recovery Authority
The Operations Lead coordinates the immediate response and keeps the President informed. The Director & Project Manager supports project-specific and deployment-related recovery actions.
The President has final authority to confirm that a disruption is resolved and approve the return to normal operations.
Business Continuity Checklist and Review
ABD maintains a written continuity checklist covering staff cover, record access, alternative working arrangements, and key communication channels. The Operations Lead and President review it at least annually and after significant disruptions or changes to office or IT arrangements.
Routine use of remote communication and alternative working arrangements supports staff familiarity with these methods. Employers may request information about the checklist and review arrangements during supplier evaluation.
Discuss Your Continuity Requirements
If your supplier evaluation requires a business-continuity questionnaire or supporting records, share the requested scope and deadline. Identify any requirements concerning staff cover, access to essential records, communication during an outage, recovery responsibilities, and review arrangements so ABD can assess the information needed for your evaluation.
