Filipino Worker Processing for Qatar Employers with Selected Candidates
Philippines-based recruitment coordination for employers, since 1990.
Filipino worker processing for Qatar starts with a review of the employer, the proposed jobs, and the candidates’ circumstances. If your company has already identified Filipino candidates, ask ABD Overseas Manpower Corporation to assess the appropriate recruitment and documentation route before agreeing on a service scope.
“Processing only” describes an employer request, not a single approved procedure for every case. Tell us what has already been completed and where help is needed. ABD must confirm whether it can accept the case, what work is included, and which responsibilities remain with your company or another party.
Already selected workers? Start with the case details
This page is for Qatar companies that have interviewed, referred, or otherwise identified candidates for their own business operations. It can also help a legitimate agency prepare an inquiry on behalf of a named employer. It is not an application page for jobseekers.
Explain whether the candidates are in the Philippines, Qatar, or another country. Also tell us whether they are new hires, returning workers, or currently employed elsewhere. These details help frame the review; this page does not determine an individual’s immigration or employment status.
If you still need candidate sourcing and interviews, use our Qatar recruitment service guide instead of assuming a processing-only scope.
Information to include in your first inquiry
- Employer: legal company name, business activity, website, Qatar worksite, and contact person.
- Jobs: positions, headcount, responsibilities, proposed salary, benefits, and contract term.
- Candidates: number selected, current country, relevant experience, and how selection took place.
- Employer file: whether you have prior accreditation, an approved job order, or documents already under review.
- Progress: interviews, offers, medical checks, or other steps already completed, with their status.
- Timing: preferred start date and any operational deadline, clearly identified as a target.
You can begin with a summary. Ask ABD what supporting records are needed and agree on how to transfer sensitive candidate documents before sending them. Identify a company coordinator who can answer questions about the offer and the employer file.
Separate candidate selection from employer readiness
MWO Qatar publishes requirements for company accreditation and job orders. Its procedure also states that a visa allocation does not guarantee approval of an equivalent job order. Having selected candidates therefore should not be treated as proof that the employer file is ready.
Read our Qatar employer accreditation guide and the official company-document checklist. Use the current requirements for your specific application rather than relying on an old file or another employer’s experience.
A practical review sequence
- Describe the case. Share the employer brief, selected headcount, candidate locations, and completed steps.
- Clarify the route. Ask ABD to identify what needs checking before it accepts the requested work.
- Agree the scope. Record deliverables, responsibilities, exclusions, charges, and communication contacts.
- Coordinate the file. Resolve missing or inconsistent information and track the applicable employer and candidate steps.
- Confirm readiness. Recheck outstanding approvals and travel requirements before committing to mobilization.
Get a written processing scope and quotation
Ask the quotation to state which coordination tasks are included, whether any further assessment of candidates is needed, and what the employer must provide. Where applicable, separate agency services from official charges, medical examinations, translations, attestations, and travel arrangements. Confirm who is responsible for each item.
Discuss what happens if a candidate withdraws, a document needs correction, or the proposed job changes. A written scope should explain how additional work is handled. This page does not quote a standard fee, guarantee acceptance, or promise an approval or departure date.
Questions about preselected Filipino candidates
Is selecting our own candidates the same as a direct-hire exemption?
No exemption is established merely by describing a candidate as employer-selected. Ask for assessment of the applicable route rather than treating “processing only” as permission to bypass recruitment requirements.
Can we skip screening because we interviewed the workers?
Explain the assessment already completed. ABD should confirm what further checks, if any, are required for the proposed engagement before accepting the scope.
Can ABD handle someone who is already in Qatar?
Submit the circumstances for review. Do not assume a process for a worker in the Philippines applies unchanged to a person already overseas. Acceptance depends on the case.
How soon can the workers start?
Timing depends on the route, employer file, candidate readiness, and outstanding requirements. Ask for milestones after review, and avoid making a target start date a guaranteed arrival commitment.
